Whether you joined directly or were added by our team, it’s because we believe your work is worth discovering. We only include businesses that meet a certain standard of visibility and relevance in the industry. If you’re here, it’s because you belong here. Claim your spot, or opt out in minutes.

Two Ways to Get Listed

How businesses end up on GFD and what it means for you.

Onboarded Listings

Businesses that choose to join GFD complete a guided onboarding process where they provide and verify their own information. Each profile is reviewed by our team before being published to ensure it meets our standards for accuracy, clarity, and relevance to the global fashion industry. To maintain ongoing trust and transparency, all onboarded listings undergo an annual verification process. This includes confirmation of business activity, updated contact details, and compliance with platform-wide policies such as ethical labor, data integrity, and professional conduct. As an onboarded member, you maintain full control over your profile and can update, expand, or remove it at any time. These listings reflect an active relationship with GFD and a shared commitment to credible sourcing, industry accountability, and high-quality engagement. Verified members may also receive increased visibility, matchmaking support, and a digital “Verified Member” badge that can be displayed on their GFD profile, website, or marketing materials.

Curated Listings

GFD creates these profiles using publicly available business information, such as your website, marketplace profile, or trade directory entry. They are added under our legitimate interest in supporting industry-wide discovery and connection. Each one is reviewed by our team to ensure accuracy and relevance to the fashion sector. We select businesses that demonstrate clear value to the industry, whether through innovation, quality, or specialization, and believe they are worth being found. While they do not imply any commercial relationship with GFD, curated profiles are designed to help businesses gain visibility within the global fashion ecosystem. They ensure qualified companies are discoverable even before onboarding, so buyers, collaborators, and fashion professionals can find the right fit faster. You may request edits, claim your profile, or ask for full removal at any time. GFD honors opt-out requests promptly and complies with all applicable data privacy laws, including GDPR and CCPA.

FAQs About Listings

Quick answers on how listings work, who we feature, and
how to manage your profile

What types of businesses are featured on GFD?

GFD includes verified profiles across all stages of the fashion value chain: apparel manufacturers, fabric and trim suppliers, fashion brands, sourcing agents, sustainability consultants, logistics providers, and creative service firms. We support categories across womenswear, menswear, kidswear, accessories, and more.

Who is GFD built for?

GFD is designed for fashion professionals seeking real, reliable sourcing connections. Whether you’re a brand founder, sourcing manager, consultant, or sustainability lead, GFD helps you skip the noise and connect directly with verified partners. From startups to scaling companies, if you’re serious about supply chain growth, verified leads, and strategic collaboration, GFD is built for you.

Does GFD support diverse and inclusive businesses?

Yes. Businesses can self-identify as women-owned, minority-owned, youth-led, or disability-inclusive. These labels help brands fulfill DEI sourcing goals. This data is self-reported and not independently audited.

How do I get listed on GFD?

To apply for inclusion, visit our Onboarding page and choose the appropriate business form. Submissions are reviewed by our team to assess category fit, profile clarity, and basic quality standards. Listings are published if approved, and you retain full control over your information.

Why is my company listed even if I didn’t sign up?

GFD features two types of listings:
Onboarded Listings: Created and submitted by businesses directly through GFD’s onboarding form. These profiles are business-managed, allowing for updates, verification, and full customization.
Curated Listings: Created by GFD’s editorial team using publicly available business information (e.g. websites, trade directories). These listings support transparency and discoverability across the fashion supply chain. Inclusion does not imply a commercial relationship and curated profiles are clearly marked as “Profile Curated by GFD Editors.”

If your business is listed and you’d like to edit, verify, or remove your profile, contact us anytime at support@globalfashiondirectory.com. We honor all requests within reasonable timeframes in accordance with GDPR Article 6(1)(f), CCPA, and other applicable data regulations.

How can I remove my business from GFD?

Email us at support@globalfashiondirectory.com with your request. Removal is permanent and processed promptly in line with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).

How does GFD verify businesses and ensure quality?

Every business listed on GFD is manually reviewed by fashion professionals. We assess each company’s public presence, product offering, and any certifications submitted. When possible, we reach out directly before publishing a listing.
“Verified” means the profile has passed GFD’s internal editorial review — including checks for location, category fit, sustainability focus, and available documentation. We do not independently audit, endorse, or certify operations. Verification is editorial in nature and does not constitute legal endorsement, due diligence, or third-party validation.

How does GFD ensure data accuracy?

All new listings are reviewed during onboarding or curation by our editorial team. We add new businesses weekly and conduct periodic reviews to help ensure accuracy. However, GFD cannot guarantee the completeness of third-party or self-submitted information. Businesses may request updates or removal of their profiles at any time by contacting our support team.

Is GFD right for small businesses or startups?

Absolutely. GFD is built to help small and growing fashion businesses get found faster, connect with qualified partners, and reduce sourcing time and cost. From minimum order quantity filters to self-onboarding, the platform is designed to be startup-friendly.

What makes GFD more effective than other platforms?

Most directories give you a list of contacts — GFD gives you leverage. Every profile is curated by fashion professionals, filters are tailored to fashion sourcing, and each tier is built to reduce outreach friction and increase traction. Verification is conducted through internal editorial review, not third-party certification. We monitor listings regularly and offer built-in lead guarantees on select plans.
